Fresno State scores short-term extension with Nike

The athletics department at California State University, Fresno, has renewed a partnership with US sportswear company Nike.

Nike’s previous agreement had been due to expire at the end of May, but the new deal will extend the partnership for a further two years.

Nike will continue to supply apparel and equipment to the university’s Bulldogs sports teams.

The Fresno Bee newspaper said that Nike’s existing deal was worth $575,000 (€480,000) per year, thus ranking it in the bottom half of the Mountain West Conference.
