The Force India Formula One motor racing team has agreed a new sponsorship deal with Japanese IT services and products firm NEC for 2015, while extending its partnership with vodka brand Smirnoff for a second season.
NEC and Smirnoff will both benefit from placement on the new Force India car livery, which was unveiled in Mexico City on Wednesday. NEC’s brand will be placed on the engine cover, while Smirnoff will be emblazoned across the rear wing. Smirnoff initially signed with Force India in May 2014.
Force India also announced that logos from Latin America’s leading insurance broker, Inter, will appear on the front wing end plates. US motor oil brand, Quaker State, also partners with the team placing its logos on the rear wing end plates. Terms of these agreements were not disclosed.
Earlier this week, Force India secured a partnership with Mexican tequila brand Jose Cuervo, while the team’s signing of Mexico’s Sergio Perez for a second season heralded a renewed commercial agreement with telecommunications company America Movil and its Claro and Telcel brands last November.
Jose Cuervo, Claro and Telcel all benefit from branding spots on the new Force India car.
