Aberdeen-based bus company First Bus has been confirmed as an official supporter of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.
First has been planning its operations for Glasgow 2014 for the past two years and its network of high-frequency services across the city will be supplemented by designated spectator shuttle services linking competition venues.
Full details of First’s transport schedule during the Commonwealth Games will be published in the coming weeks, while the company will also serve as an official supporter of Team Scotland at the multi-sport event.
As the official supporter – bus services, First joins ScotRail on Glasgow 2014’s transport roster. ScotRail is the official supporter – passenger services for the Commonwealth Games.
