Banking group First Capital Plus Bank has agreed a five-year deal with the Ghana Football Association to become the title sponsor of the country’s top flight football division.
The agreement is worth $10m (€7.4m) and commences from the 2014-15 Premier League season.
First Capital Plus Bank chief executive John Kofi Mensah said: “We will come up with innovative products for players and the clubs and collaborate…to develop holistic strategies to make our league one of the most attractive leagues in Africa and in the world.”
