The International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) has extended its top-tier partnership with Russian financial services group VTB Bank.
Terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but it will extend a partnership that has existed between the two organisations since 2009.
Vasily Titov, FIG vice-president and first deputy president and chairman of Moscow-based VTB, said: “Gymnastics is an important sport in Russia and we are pleased to continue our cooperation with the FIG, one of the major international sport federations of the Olympic movement.”
VTB Bank serves as a top-tier sponsor of the FIG alongside Cirque du Soleil and Longines.
