FEI puts best foot forward with Ariat

The International Equestrian Federation (FEI) has entered into a partnership with US-based footwear company Ariat International.

Ariat will develop a co-branded product collection over the next three years that will retail at showpiece FEI events between 2016 and 2018.

The collection will launch at the 2016 FEI World Cup Jumping Final in Gothenburg, Sweden and also feature on-site at Western European and North American League qualifier events over the course of the agreement.

Ariat will be a supporting sponsor of the World Cup Jumping Finals from 2016.

Proceeds from the sales on location and through Ariat retailers will go to FEI Solidarity, the federation’s global sports development programme.

“The partnership with the FEI represents a perfect opportunity for Ariat International to extend its visibility and brand awareness by engaging with our global equestrian fan base,” Sabrina Zeender, FEI secretary general, said. “With Ariat’s additional sponsorship and a share of the proceeds from the sale of the new product ranges going back into the sport via FEI Solidarity, this is a win-win situation.”
