US shipping giant FedEx has struck a deal with this year’s edition of the Ryder Cup golf tournament, which will take place at the Gleneagles Hotel in Perthshire, Scotland from September 26-28.
Under the deal, FedEx will serve as an official supplier to the event.
In addition to shipping equipment to and from the venue, FedEx will also offer an on-site shipping service in the Ryder Cup Tented Village, allowing spectators to forward their purchases from the event around the world.
Despite being a long-term sponsor of various events on the US PGA Tour, this deal will mark the first time that FedEx has supported the Ryder Cup.
