German Bundesliga football club FC Köln has agreed a deal for German sporting goods manufacturer Uhlsport to become its new kit supplier from the 2018-19 season.
The four-year deal will run until the end of the 2021-22 campaign. Uhlsport will replace fellow German company Erima as Köln’s kit supplier.
Uhlsport will provide the club with match kit, training gear and other specialised items as part of the agreement. The deal will also grant Uhlsport a range of branding opportunities.
Uhlsport’s managing director, Dominik Solleder, said: “The complete Uhlsport team is very happy about this partnership with FC Köln. For us it is an important strategic step that fits well into our sales strategy. The development in football business has the highest priority at Uhlsport. Top quality, trust, and modern products are how we were able to win over FC. This is something we want to show more and more of in both the national and international football world in the years to come.”
Erima has provided the club’s kit since the 2012-13 season.
