FC Cincinnati and Allegiant strike sponsorship agreement

Major League Soccer expansion club FC Cincinnati has entered into a multiyear sponsorship agreement with Allegiant Air making the discount carrier the club’s official airline partner.

The cornerstone agreement includes club and stadium assets both at Nippert Stadium, FCC’s temporary home for this year and next, and at the new West End Stadium starting in 2021.

As part of the agreement the Las Vegas-based Allegiant will offer the “Allegiant Fan Flyaway Promotion.” The promotion provides the opportunity for FC Cincinnati fans to win during each home game two tickets to any Allegiant destination, as well as the grand prize of an all-expenses paid trip to an FC Cincinnati road game wherever Allegiant flies.

Each season during the agreement the club’s annual goal-scoring champion will win the Golden Boot Delivered by Allegiant.

“We’re so pleased Allegiant is part of the FC Cincinnati family,” said Jeff Berding, club president and general manager. “Our fans have embraced the ease and accessibility the airline offers and how easy it is for them to go all over the county out of [Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport]. For a fanatical fanbase like ours, ease of travel to our away games – and for personal enjoyment and vacations, too – is especially important. This partnership is a great fit for both of us and we’re looking forward to a long, productive relationship.”
