FA signs sleeve sponsorship deal with Deliveroo

Food delivery company Deliveroo has agreed a deal to become an official partner of England’s national football teams and the FA Cup club competition.

The deal with the Football Association, terms of which were undisclosed, sees Deliveroo become England’s first sleeve sponsor. The company’s logo will be worn on the training kit of all senior men’s and women’s sides, starting with the former’s forthcoming Uefa Euro 2020 qualifiers against Bulgaria and Kosovo.

In June, the FA ended its search for an exclusive lead partner through a deal with telco BT. Under the five-year deal, the BT logo emblazons the front of the training kit of both the men’s and women’s squads.

The FA and Deliveroo said “exciting plans” for the firm’s FA Cup association will be rolled out from the 2019-20 season onwards.
