EXCLUSIVE: LIV Tour targets $120m-plus annual sponsorship income

The LIV Tour, the new disruptive golf series bankrolled by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, is hoping to reel in more than $120m (€119.8m) per year from its sponsorship offering once a broadcast distribution platform has been established.

SportBusiness understands that the tour’s sales outreach efforts over the summer consisted of hosting brand prospects at its events and exposing them to hospitality and the LIV ‘experience’, with sponsorship packages to be finalised once a mainstream media deal is complete.
