English Premier League football club Everton has entered into a partnership with foreign exchange trading and brokerage service Blackwell Global.
Terms of the multi-year agreement were not disclosed, but it was confirmed that Blackwell will become the club’s first official partner from the sector. The deal also represents Blackwell’s first sporting partnership.
Blackwell will benefit from branding exposure during Everton’s home matches at the team’s Goodison Park stadium.
In addition, Blackwell will offer a range of Everton-related experiences to fans of the team and the company’s worldwide network of clients.
Alan McTavish, head of commercial at Everton, said: “Blackwell Global is the club’s first official forex and brokerage partner and we are pleased to announce a partner in a new market sector category for the club. The partnership represents another positive development in our commercial strategy as we continue to grow.”
