Sports betting company Efbet has agreed a shirt sponsorship deal with Bulgarian A PFG top-tier football club Levski Sofia.
The partnership, under which Efbet’s branding will feature on the back of Levski’s playing shirts, will initially run until the end of the year, with a view to extending to a three-and-a-half-year term, until the end of the 2017-18 season.
Levskichief financial officer Konstantin Bazhdekov said: “We hope everything becomes clear at the beginning of next year. The partnership is beneficial for both sides.”
The agreement with Levski continues Efbet’s expansion within the Bulgarian top flight. It already has partnerships in place with CSKA Sofia, Locomotiv Sofia, Slavia, Locomotiv Plovdiv and Botev Plovdiv.
Levski’s main sponsor is telecommunications company Mtel.
