Edinburgh Rugby secures new shirt sponsor

Scottish Pro14 rugby union club Edinburgh has unveiled financial advisory firm Principal & Prosper as its new main sponsor.

The company's logo will feature on Edinburgh's playing and training kit for the next three years as part of the deal. The agreement covers Edinburgh's Pro14 and Champions Cup matches.

Principal & Prosper, which has offices throughout Scotland, will also support Edinburgh's community initiatives. The company is owned by Chris Purves and Stewart Siegel, and has supported Edinburgh since 2015.

“It’s a tremendous vote of confidence that such a prestigious local brand such as Principal & Prosper wishes to make such a significant investment in the future of this club,” Jonny Petrie, Edinburgh Rugby’s managing director, said.

“We are working hard to create a club that the people of this city are proud to support and brands want to do business with, so having enjoyed a great relationship with Chris, Stewart and the Principal & Prosper team for the past three seasons, we look forward to continuing that growing relationship together in the coming years.”
