Eagles take flight with renewed American Airlines deal

American Airlines has renewed its partnership with NFL American football franchise the Philadelphia Eagles.

Although the terms of the deal were not disclosed, the Philadelphia Business Journal reported that American Airlines will retain its role as the official airline of the Eagles.

The airline will also continue to sponsor ‘Fan Fly-In’ – an initiative in which a fan and guest are flown in for an Eagles regular-season home game and receive free hotel accommodation, tickets and pre-game sideline passes.

American Airlines has served as a founding partner of the team since 2004, when the company merged with rival airline and previous Eagles’ sponsor US Airways.

Other founding partners of the Eagles include Coca-Cola, Panasonic, Miller Lite, Verizon Wireless and Acme Markets.
