Electronic Arts, the parent company of video game developer EA Sports, has agreed a long-term extension to its licensing deal with FIFPro, the global union of professional football players, as it continues to weigh up its association with Fifa.
EA said the new deal supports EA Sports’ “continuing investment in the future of football”, and further enables it to deliver the “greatest, most authentic football experience” to more than 150 million players globally.
