Tennis Australia has agreed a five-year extension to its sponsorship deal with Dunlop for the Australian Open despite criticism over the sporting goods manufacturer’s products at the ongoing edition of the grand slam tournament.

Dunlop took over as the official ball supplier to the Australian Open from Wilson in 2019. Its new contract will take this tenure through to at least 2028 but comes with gripes from players about the standard of product on offer this year in Melbourne.
