Specialist off-course golf retailer Drummond Golf is to expand its support of Golf Australia after agreeing to become a major partner of the national governing body.
Under the expanded deal, the terms of which were undisclosed, Drummond Golf will become the presenting sponsor of the national Playgolf Week programme. The initiative aims to attract new players to the sport from across Australia.
Drummond Golf, which has been a long-term supporter of Golf Australia, will also continue to serve as a key sponsor of the Women’s Australia Open.
Drummond Golf will join Golf Australia’s other major partners, Accor Hotels Australia, Audi, HOST Plus and Coca-Cola Amatil.
