The Pittsburgh Steelers has become the latest NFL American football franchise to enter into a partnership with US fantasy sports gaming company DraftKings.
Under the deal, the terms of which were not disclosed, DraftKings will become the team’s daily fantasy sports partner.
DraftKings will benefit from branding placement on in-arena LED displays and across the team’s various digital platforms. The company will also provide in-arena fantasy sports updates during Steelers home games.
In addition, DraftKings will provide Steelers fans with opportunities to engage with the team through prize giveaways such as game tickets, VIP events and various other experiences.
The Steelers becomes the third NFL franchise to have struck a deal with DraftKings, following the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots. DraftKings has also secured partnerships with the NHL ice hockey league and NBA basketball franchises the Minnesota Timberwolves, Philadelphia 76ers, Boston Celtics and Houston Rockets.
