Daily fantasy sports service Draft Ops has entered into a partnership with the Bellator mixed martial arts series.
Under the deal, the terms of which were not disclosed, Draft Ops will become the official fantasy gaming partner of Bellator.
Draft Ops will benefit from branding placement in the Bellator cage while the fantasy sports brand will also be promoted via social media platforms, digital campaigns and live in-show broadcast integration.
Draft Ops branding will also receive branding exposure through the new ‘Fantasy Finish of the Night’ feature, which will highlight a particular finish or technique from a Bellator event.
Bellator fans will also be able to compete in the '$10K Fantasy' tournament, in which players will compete for a share of $10,000 ($8,497) in cash.
Draft Ops is the latest fantasy sports brand to have established a partnership with a major sports property. Rival operator DraftKings already has agreements in place with various NBA basketball and NFL American football franchises, as well as the North American NHL ice hockey league.
