Korean conglomerate Doosan has entered into a multi-year partnership with Major League Baseball team the New York Yankees.
Doosan is an existing partner of MLB and also holds golf’s Open Championship in its sponsorship portfolio.
As a sponsor of the Yankees, Doosan will receive branding at the visiting team’s on-deck location at Yankee Stadium, along with exclusive VIP hospitality experiences and player appearances.
“We are excited to grow our overall commitment to baseball through the New York Yankees, an organisation with which we share a respect for tradition and an eye toward the future,” Edward Song, head of Doosan Infracore North America, said.
“We are honoured to be partnered with the Yankees, and believe that our partnership with a marquee sports brand such as the Yankees gives us the ability to continue to grow our brand in the critical US marketplace.”
Doosan’s multi-year deal with MLB began in the 2017 postseason.
