Campeonato Brasileiro Série A football team Portuguesa has renewed its shirt sponsorship agreement with electronics manufacturer DL for the Brazilian top division’s 2014 season.
Under the agreement, DL will benefit from branding space on the Portuguesa home and away shirts.
Additionally, DL is to be granted exposure in the Sao Paulo club’s Caninde stadium having initially partnered with Portuguesa last season.
“The renewal of the sponsorship agreement is proof that investment in the Portuguesa name brings instant feedback and rewards those who want to invest in the good name of our club,” Portuguesa vice-president José Luiz Ferreira de Almeida said, before adding that the club remains on the lookout for further sponsors.
