Global logistics company DHL has entered into a partnership with the Romanian Football Federation (FRF).
As part of the deal, the length of which was not disclosed, the company’s DHL Express division will provide transportation services for FRF documents and sports equipment.
DHL Express will oversee the transportation of FRF marketing materials and promotional items for Romanian football fans around the world, while packaging solutions and parcel-tracking services will also be offered.
“Football is the most loved sport in Romania and we are honoured to join the Romanian Football Federation and to support it in its efforts to improve football performance,” Daniel Kearvell, managing director for DHL Express Romania, said.
“We want to develop our partnership over time and contribution to the success of Romania’s national football team.”
DHL serves as a logistics partner for football clubs including German Bundesliga champion Bayern Munich and English Premier League duo Manchester United and Leicester City.
