Deezer adds Borussia Dortmund to sponsorship portfolio

German Bundesliga football club Borussia Dortmund has signed a partnership with audio streaming service Deezer.

As the exclusive Streaming Partner of Dortmund, Deezer will be integrated into the club’s official app. The length of the agreement was not disclosed.

The app will feature a new ‘Music’ category, where individual match-day playlists can be found. Dortmund players will also share their personal playlists as part of the deal.

The first match-day soundtrack will appear on the app for Dortmund’s game against Hoffenheim tomorrow (Saturday).

The partnership was brokered by the Lagardère Sports agency, Dortmund’s marketing partner.

Deezer is also a partner of English Premier League club Manchester United.
