CTT delivers Taca da Liga sponsorship

Portugal’s national postal service CTT has taken on the title sponsorship of the Taca da Liga knockout club football competition.

The tournament will be rebranded as Taca CTT under a three-year agreement spanning the 2015-16 to 2017-18 seasons.

For the past three years the Taca da Liga has been without a naming sponsor after legislation barred its commercial arrangement with betting company Bwin in 2012.

Beer brand Carlsberg sponsored the cup for its first three editions from the 2007-08 campaign.
