CSA becomes NetBet’s latest Brazilian club partner

Online betting company NetBet has further enhanced its presence in Brazilian football by agreeing a shirt sponsorship deal with Campeonato Brasileiro Série A club Centro Sportivo Alagoano.

The contract with the Maceió-based club will run for the remainder of the 2019 season, with an option to extend into 2020. NetBet has been granted front-of-shirt brand exposure through the deal.

NetBet has similar deals with CSA’s fellow Série A clubs Fortaleza and Vasco da Gama. Fortaleza in January became the first team to strike a sponsorship deal with an online betting company following changes in legislation.

Ricardo Lima, CSA’s commercial manager, said: “I think that at the present time in our country, bookmakers have been an important source of resources for Brazilian sport.

“NetBet is a platform that can open doors for CSA to new partnerships outside the state and national levels.”
