Cricket West Indies signs BLK deal

Cricket West Indies (CWI) has entered into a partnership with sportswear company BLK.

The three-year deal will run until 2020 and will see BLK provide kit for the West Indies national teams.

The agreement covers the West Indies’ senior men’s, women’s and youth sides. BLK will also support grassroots cricket projects in the Caribbean as part of the deal.

The senior men’s team will wear the BLK kit for the first time when it begins its tour of England with a Test match at Edgbaston on August 17.

CWI chief executive Johnny Grave said: “In addition to providing all of our team wear, this new partnership forms part of our broader strategy to grow our retail and licensing revenues by creating a new online Windies store. We will be expanding our commercial partnership programme over the next few years and are looking forward to building the relationship with BLK.”
