Cricket Australia launches Bupa partnership

Private healthcare group Bupa has reached an agreement to become a gold partner of Cricket Australia.

Under the deal, Bupa becomes the naming right sponsor of CA’s National Cricket Centre (NCC) and the support staff of the Australian men’s cricket team.

The Brisbane facility will now be known as the Bupa NCC, while Australia’s coaches, medics and administrative staff fall under the banner of Bupa Support Team.

The terms of the agreement, under which Bupa will also sponsor the domestic Sheffield Shield competition, were not disclosed.

Australia started a two-test series against Pakistan in Dubai today (Wednesday) and will co-host the 2015 World Cup with neighbouring New Zealand from February.
