Consorzio Prosecco DOC joins forces with MotoGP

Italian sparkling wine Consorzio Prosecco DOC has signed as an official supplier of MotoGP.

Under the deal with MotoGP owner-operator Dorna Sport, Consorzio Prosecco will appear on the winners’ podium for FIM MotoGP World Championship events for three years, starting in 2019.

In addition to its brand presence during podium celebrations, Consorzio Prosecco will also feature around the MotoGP VIP Village and will have trackside advertising at five grands prix: the Grand Prix of the Americas, the German Grand, the San Marino Grand Prix, the Japan Grand Prix and the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix.

Stefano Zanette, president of the Prosecco DOC Consorzio, said: “The agreement strengthens the partnership between the Consortium and Dorna, established in 2013 in the international circuits of the WorldSBK .”

The first Prosecco DOC-branded podium will be in Argentina from the 29th to the 31st March after the season kicks off in Qatar from the 8th to 10th March.
