Italian rugby union team Zebre Rugby has reached an expanded sponsorship deal to make retail store brand Conad its shirt sponsor in European competitions.
Under the agreement, the terms for which were not disclosed, Conad’s branding will feature on the front of the Zebre jersey for the first time when it hosts French team Oyonnax in its opening European Rugby Challenge Cup game tomorrow (Saturday).
In November, Conad will launch a store and restaurant inside Zebre’s Stadio XXV Aprile home in Parma.
Zebre technical director Roberto Manghi said: “Since the inception of the club in summer 2012 Conad has supported us by tying its image to that of the team.”
