French financial services company Cofidis has signed on as the main sponsor of the Spanish Cycling Federation (RFEC).
Cofidis has signed an initial one-year deal with both parties expressing their hope that the agreement can be extended on a long-term basis.
Under the agreement, the Cofidis logo will appear on the front of the shirts of Spanish national teams across all disciplines and categories.
Cofidis is a long-time sponsor of cycling. In August, the company extended its partnership with the Vuelta a España ‘grand tour’ race. The new agreement will see Cofidis retain its position as a main sponsor of the race through to its 2019 edition.
Cofidis has also been a main sponsor of the Pro-Continental cycling team Cofidis Solutions Crédits since its formation in 1996.
