The International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) has named technology brand Cisco Systems as a partner of this November’s Team World Cup competition.
Cisco’s operating company in Japan – Cisco Systems G.K, also referred to as Cisco Japan – will be an Official Sponsor of the men’s and women’s national team competition, which takes place in Tokyo.
The ITTF Team World Cup will also serve as a test event for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, where Cisco Japan is a domestic partner in the category of networking equipment.
Cisco Japan’s partnership with the ITTF builds on existing relationships with Japanese table tennis stars Kasumi Ishikawa and Tomokazu Harimoto.
