Electronic solutions manufacturer Molex has agreed a deal to become an official sponsor of the Chicago Marathon.
The deal will run for four years, from 2015 through to 2018.
Under the agreement, Molex will have a presence throughout the marathon course and in race-day hospitality and information tents.
The Chicago Marathon is one of six events that make up the World Marathon Majors, a series of elite marathon races that also includes events in New York, Boston, London, Berlin and Tokyo.
The series’ title sponsor is global healthcare company Abbott. As part of its deal, Molex will also benefit from a booth presence at the Abbott Health and Fitness Expo that will take place in Chicago prior to the 2015 race on October 11.
