English Premier League football club Chelsea has entered into a new partnership with Indian new generation bank IndusInd Bank.
Under the deal, the terms of which were not disclosed, IndusInd Bank will become the club’s official payment card partner in India.
IndusInd Bank will distribute co-branded credit cards in India while its customers will also gain access to a 10-per-cent discount in the official online Chelsea megastore.
Although the deal represents the first of its kind in India, Chelsea already has similar arrangements in place with other partners in Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and Kenya.
