Charlotte Hornets serve up deal with local restaurant

NBA basketball team the Charlotte Hornets has teamed up with local restaurant Queen City Q.

The exact length of the multi-year agreement, which will see the restaurant become the Hornets’ official and exclusive barbecue, was not disclosed.

Queen City Q’s food will be available in the stands at Time Warner Cable Arena, the venue for Hornets home games.

Hugo the Hornet, the club’s official mascot, will also make appearances at Queen City Q’s two restaurants in North Carolina.

Queen City Q also has the ability to utilise Hornets logos and marks for marketing purposes.
