Centuria extends Western Sydney Wanderers shirt sponsorship

Investment management company Centuria Capital Group has agreed a one-year extension to its partnership with Australian A-League football club Western Sydney Wanderers.

Having first partnered with the club in October, Centuria will continue as Wanderers’ co-major partner until the end of the 2019-20 season.

Centuria will continue as the home front-of-shirt partner and will also retain its support of the Wanderers W-League women’s outfit with brand placement on the front of the team’s shorts.

Joint chief executive of Centuria, John McBain, said: “For over 23 years we have built an investment business from nothing to over AUD$6bn  (€3.77bn/$4.22bn) in AUM (assets under management) and three share-market listings – all designed with mum and dad investors in mind.

“The origins of the Wanderers, their pride in the club and their plans for the future have many parallels with our organisation.”
