Carolina Panthers land American Airlines extension

American Airlines has signed a multi-year extension to its partnership with NFL American football franchise the Carolina Panthers.

The airline will continue to serve as the Panthers’ official airline, a position it has held since 2006.

Under the agreement, American Airlines’ branding will remain on show during games at the Panthers’ Bank of America Stadium, while in-game promotions will be organised by the two parties.

American Airlines will also sponsor the Panthers’ quarterly coffee events for local military veterans at Bank of America Stadium.

“We appreciate the long-term support of American Airlines as the official airline of the Carolina Panthers,” Panthers president Danny Morrison said. “They are an important part of our away game travel and also an important member of our team.”
