NFL American football team New Orleans Saints has reached a sponsorship agreement for the 2013-14 season with locally based cruise operator Carnival Cruise Lines.
Under the deal, which represents Carnival Cruise Lines’ first venture into the NFL, the company becomes the official cruise partner of the Saints.
Carnival will have the opportunity to engage with Saints fans through in-stadium promotions at the New Orleans Superdome, social media activations and prize promotions, beginning with the Carnival Cruise to the Game with Your Krewe Sweepstakes.
The promotion runs until November 13 and offers supporters prizes including match tickets and autographed merchandise through the group’s Facebook page.
On November 17, Carnival will act as the presenting partner of the American All-Star Tribute Show during half-time when the Saints host San Francisco 49ers in promotion of its newest ship, Carnival Sunshine. One fan at the Superdome for the match will win a seven-day Caribbean cruise aboard the recently renovated 3,006-passenger vessel.
