Financial services company Capital One Bank has extended its partnership with NBA basketball franchise the Washington Wizards and NHL ice hockey team the Washington Capitals for the 2015-16 season.
Under the agreement, Capital One will continue to serve as the official presenting sponsor of both teams.
The partnership will also establish Capital One as the official bank of the Capitals, Wizards, the Washington Mystics WNBA women’s basketball team and the Verizon Center, the home of all three franchises.
The deal includes in-arena branding initiatives in addition to in-game digital elements and social media platforms for fan engagement.
Capital One brokered the deal with Monumental Sports & Entertainment, owner and operator of the three teams.
