The Canterbury Rugby Football Union (CRFU) has announced that SBS Bank is to become its new principal sponsor for ITM Cup and Canterbury Sevens representative teams.
The New Zealand bank will hold the primary branding rights for these teams. As a result, SBS Bank branding will be present on the front of the players’ jerseys, as well as on the collar.
Although the length of the deal was undisclosed, it was confirmed that it came into effect on June 1.
Matthew Mark, SBS Bank area manager, said: “The SBS team is committed to being actively involved in the Canterbury community. It’s something we pride ourselves on and we’re looking forward to rolling up our sleeves and getting involved at entry level.”
