Swiss beer brand Calanda has reached a deal to serve as a gold partner of the Spengler Cup ice hockey competition under a multi-year deal.
The 89th annual Spengler Cup will be held in its traditional location of Davos from December 26-31.
Calanda will also become the main sponsor of Hockey Club Davos from May 1. Financial terms for the deals were not disclosed.
Financial services institution UBS will continue its long-term association as the presenting partner of the Spengler Cup in 2015, while the tournament’s other commercial partners include construction and industrial products manufacturer Wurth Group, blinds company Schenker Storen and automotive firm Skoda.
