North American hospitality chain Motel 6 has been named title sponsor of the 2016 Cactus Bowl US college American football game.
Motel 6 agreed the deal with the Fiesta Bowl, which operates the game. The game will officially be named the Motel 6 Cactus Bowl.
The 27th annual Cactus Bowl will take place at Chase Field stadium in Phoenix, Arizona on January 2. The game will feature teams from the Big 12 and Pac-12 conferences.
The 2015 Cactus Bowl was sponsored by ticketing exchange TicketCity and was won by Oklahoma State.
