Cricket Australia rebuffs reports that Cummins influenced Alinta’s decision to quit

Cricket Australia has rebutted reports that Australian Test captain Pat Cummins influenced Alinta Energy’s decision to exit as main shirt sponsor after this season.

The statement was made after Cummins told Australian national newspapers The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald that he had raised “ethical objections” to the Alinta contract with Cricket Australia’s chief executive Nick Hockley.
