Bundaberg Rum gets Cricket World Cup shot

The International Cricket Council has reached an agreement to make rum brand Bundaberg Rum an official partner of its 2015 World Cup.

Under the deal, Bundaberg Rum products will be supplied at a number of World Cup venues when the co-hosted tournament begins in Australia and New Zealand in February.

Bundaberg Rum is owned by multinational drinks company Diageo.

Earlier this year, the ICC sealed agreements to make Wolf Blass and Matua Wines its official wines in Australia and New Zealand respectively during the World Cup.
