Brazilian football clubs renew with iPlace

Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A football clubs Grêmio and Internacional have extended shirt sponsorship deals with technology company Apple’s largest Brazilian retail partner, iPlace.

Both partnerships will run for the remainder of the 2018 season. iPlace’s branding will continue to appear on the sleeve of the two clubs’ shirts.

iPlace partnered with Grêmio in July and Internacional in August.

As part of Internacional’s continued partnership with iPlace, fans will benefit from discounts and access to a customised product line.

Germano Grings, chief executive of iPlace's parent company Grupo Herval, said: "This sponsorship increases our growth strategy, which goes a long way towards valuing our public. The iPlace and Herval Group brands are synonymous with quality and proximity to the consumer, and this new step makes us even more assertive in that regard."
