Brazilian banking and financial services company Bradesco has struck a deal with Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB), the top division of club basketball in the country, to become the title sponsor of its end-of-season All Star events.
Under the deal, the terms of which were not disclosed, the 2015 events will be known under the collective title Super Challenge BRA Star.
The series will include the All-Star Game, in which Brazilian players in the NBB take on a team of foreign players that also play in the domestic club competition.
The All-Star game will this year take place for the first time alongside the Challenge of the Stars, which will feature the best players from the country’s Liga de Basquete Feminino women’s club basketball competition.
Bradesco is already heavily involved with sports sponsorship in Brazil through its support of the country’s basketball, rowing, sailing, rugby, aquatics and judo national associations.
