Botafogo signs new shirt sponsor

Campeonato Brasileiro Série A football club Botafogo has agreed a new shirt sponsorship deal with fuel distribution company Fit.

The agreement will cover the entire 2019 season, granting Fit exposure on the front of the Rio de Janeiro-based club’s shirt, below main sponsor Caixa.

Fit, which has a strong presence in the states of Rio and São Paulo, will also receive exposure on interview boards and advertising at the club’s Estádio Nilton Santos.

Fit’s commercial vice-president, Carlos Eduardo Cotta, said: “We know the greatness and tradition of this club, whose greatest asset is to have millions of fans spread throughout Brazil. The club sponsorship will significantly increase Fit’s brand exposure now that we are repositioning the company in the market.”
