Italian Serie A football club Bologna has partnered with binary trading company Option888.
Neither the length of the deal nor the exact details of the agreement were disclosed.
“Option888 is trying to stabilise as a world leader in binary options trading, and entry into football is an opportunity for us to develop further,” Elena Constantinidou, director of Option888, said.
The agreement marks the first time Option888 has teamed up with a European football club.
Christoph Winterling, head of sales and marketing at Bologna, said: “This agreement once again demonstrates the interest in Bologna that we are gaining with our new path, both inside the country and abroad.”
The 2015-16 season is Bologna’s first back in the top tier of Italian football since it was relegated at the end of the 2013-14 campaign. The club is currently 19th in Serie A.
