US brand BodyArmor has agreed deals to become the official sports drink of the Atlantic 10 collegiate sports conference and St John’s University’s athletics programme.
The partnerships mark BodyArmor’s first in college sports. The length of the company’s partnership with the Atlantic 10 Conference was not disclosed, while it has entered into a multi-year deal with St John’s, which is located in New York.
BodyArmor will be granted rights to use Atlantic 10 conference marks and logos across its products and will be given exposure across each of the 17 conference championships.
Through its partnership with St John’s, BodyArmor’s branding will be prominent on the sidelines, on the benches and in the dugouts during the college’s home events. It will also appear on coolers, towels, cups and bottles.
St John’s will in turn receive promotion through BodyArmor’s media platforms and at sampling events. In-game promotions will also be organised over the course of the deal.
