BlackBerry is to become a presenting partner of this year’s Manulife Financial Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Classic at the Grey Silo Golf Course in Wellington, Canada.
As part of the arrangement, the Canadian telecommunications firm has joined forces with title sponsor Manulife Financial to develop the BlackBerry Community Program. This will include a number of initiatives aimed at increasing interest in the event and the sport.
These initiatives will include reigning champion Brittany Lang hosting a pre-event clinic with junior golfers at the course, while the BlackBerry Family Zone will be open throughout the tournament to host a range of family-focused activities.
This year’s Manulife Financial LPGA Classic will take place from July 11-14.
